Lewisham SENDIASS will be hosting their first Virtual Coffee Morning on Tuesday 12th May 2020 between 10am and 12 noon. They have asked us to pass on the following information:
Dr Emma Mahoney from Drumbeat will be discussing mental health during these unprecedented times, and our SENDIASS practitioners will be on hand to take questions as there will be a Q & A session after.
Who are we – SENDIASS (Lewisham)
We are a confidential, impartial service, which offers accurate information, advice and support to parents of children with SEND. We appreciate how difficult it can be at times, especially during these times of lockdown due to the Corona Virus. Our approach is to empower our parents by providing them with information on their rights and guidance on the legal framework that all schools and local authorities adhere to.
We will be organising further sessions on the support we offer parents, details of which will be circulated shortly. We would like to thank you in advance for all your help and support with our first Virtual Coffee Morning .
