This week we were delighted to welcome colleagues to Brent Knoll from other London borough special schools; Glebe, Bensham Manor, Charlton Park Academy, Greenvale and Red Gates. Co-led by Gaynor Eames and Laura Shaw (from Glebe School) the SLP provides networking, CPD and moderation opportunities across the year. Colleagues from the SLP met to discuss achievement across the schools and to share ideas for best practice.
It was a fantastic opportunity for teachers and subject leads to collaborate and see how other schools provide support and feedback to students, how they evidence learning, and share ideas for accreditation.
