It was an absolute delight to welcome back former pupil Pascal Downie-Dear who moved on to study NVQ in Catering and Hospitality. Pascal has worked with the charity The Camden Trust to support him finding employment and is now working full time in London for an organisation called The Unity Café. He spoke eloquently about how his diagnosis had impacted upon him but that he had overcome challenges and succeeded. He is known to some of our current pupils as he is also a coach at Saxon Crown swimming club. He has recently been featured in The Westminster Reporter. He was a real inspiration and provided pupils with the proof that they can ‘Be the best that they can be’.
