Brent Knoll Sixth form
What is our sixth form?
A one-year transition course for students who would benefit from additional time within a nurturing environment. We develop student’s confidence and independence with a view to them transitioning to a local Further Education College enabling them to become active citizens, able to participate and make a positive contribution within their own communities.
What is our curriculum?
The curriculum provides a breadth of experiences and enables personalised learning to ensure that each learner can progress and develop at their own pace. As well as opportunities to experience new learning opportunities there is a desire to allow consolidation and broadening of previous knowledge and experience to help develop their life skills, encourage independence and get a taste of the world of employment developing their social, communication and interaction skills.
